Editorial Policy

Our guides and state pages help consumers understand insurance and compare their options. Here is how we create them.

How we research

We base our content on primary sources wherever possible: state insurance departments and statutes for requirements, and published policy terms and industry resources for how coverage works. We avoid quoting prices or savings we can’t support, because rates depend on each person’s situation and change often.

Accuracy and updates

Each page shows when it was last reviewed. We revisit pages when laws or common practices change, and at least once a year. If you spot an error, email us at support@insurancequotemarket.com and we’ll review it promptly.

Independence

We are paid by the insurance companies, agents and other partners who receive quote requests, as described in our advertising disclosure. Our partners do not write or approve our guides, and we don’t recommend a particular insurer.

Not advice

Our content is general information, not insurance, legal or veterinary advice. Always read a policy’s terms, and ask a licensed agent, your state insurance department or your veterinarian about your specific situation.
